Job summary

Winsert seeks experienced Machine Shop Supervisors to lead shifts, manage labor, and ensure safe, efficient production aligned with company metrics. Roles include supervising teams, coaching staff, and ensuring on-time delivery while meeting quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain quality, inventory, and profitability within scope.
• Coach, train, and influence employee behavior to meet culture and duties.
• Accountable for meeting and reporting shift metrics.
• Maintain workforce to minimize costs and ensure safety standards.
• Ensure on-time delivery and manage scrap and perishable items.
• Manage daily production flow and production/shipping schedules.
• Communicate with shift employees about priorities and issues.
• Enforce company policies consistently.
• Submit maintenance work orders.
• Conduct employee evaluations.
• Schedule and conduct shift meetings.
• Coordinate with other departments.
• Participate in Kaizen and quality tasks.
• Purchase inventory and non-inventory supplies for Machine Shop.
