Job summary

Valmont Industries, Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor in Jasper, TN to lead hourly production teams, ensure safety and quality, and control costs while meeting schedules. The role supervises up to 40 direct reports, drives lean initiatives, and enforces policies. Shift is Mon-Thu 8PM - 6:15AM in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in supervision, strong leadership, and excellent communication; experience reading blueprints and using MS Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with related experience.
• Associates/Bachelors with progressive supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, instructions, manuals.

Responsibilities

• Supervise hourly production employees and maintain shift logs.
• Ensure safety policies, quality, and cost controls are followed.
• Schedule work to maximize manpower, machines and equipment utilization.
• Define production standards and monitor performance.
• Train new employees on policies and safety procedures.
• Prepare daily time sheets, production summaries, and downtime reports.
