Job summary

Dura-Line in Elyria, Ohio is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a night shift on a 2-2-3 schedule. You will coach, mentor, and drive lean manufacturing practices to hit safety, quality, service, and cost targets.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years of production leadership, strong problem-solving, and proficient use of ERP/SAP and MS Office. A degree is preferred but not required; compensation includes a comprehensive benefits package and a quarterly bonus program.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of production experience with direct reports
• Experience with scrap management, safety behaviors and quality controls
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Familiar with workforce scheduling and overtime management
• Lean manufacturing knowledge (5S, Six Sigma, Gemba) is a plus
• Associate degree or higher preferred

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of daily production operations, staffing, quality and schedule adherence
• Hold the team accountable to procedures and conduct standards
• Drive process improvements and effective employee relations
• Balance quality, safety, morale, productivity and cost
• Train, qualify and manage performance of employees
