Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands, Inc. in Sidney, OH seeks a Night Shift Production Supervisor to oversee hourly production teams 6pm–4am. You’ll ensure safety, quality and lean practices while guiding staff and improving methods.

The role emphasizes coaching, problem solving, and cost control within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and a target compensation range of $80,000–$85,000, with full-time commitment defined as 30+ hours per week

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of progressively responsible supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; able to educate/train non-degreed operators.
• Able to collaborate with plant leadership to drive performance.
• Proficient in STOP and 5S principles.
• Excellent attendance record.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise the manufacturing team to meet production demands.
• Develop staffing guidelines to maximize labor utilization while controlling costs.
• Hire, supervise, evaluate, and replace staff to meet objectives.
• Lead shift meetings for Safety and Production items as instructed by management.
• Drive continuous improvement including 5S and conversion cost reduction.
• Provide training and coaching to shift personnel on setup, operations, safety, and procedures.
• Identify career paths and support skill development for advancement.
• Maintain documentation and follow up on training and responsibilities.
• Assist with line operation paperwork, logs, audits, and corrective actions.
