Job summary

Cenveo is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for its Cleveland, OH envelope manufacturing facility on 1st shift (11:20pm–7:20am). The ideal candidate has 5+ years of leadership in a production environment and can manage a team of operators, technicians and quality staff.

Responsibilities include ensuring safe operations, coordinating production plans, monitoring quality, and driving lean improvements. Some weekends/overtime may be required based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a supervisory/leadership role in a production environment.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; experience may substitute. Emphasis on manufacturing/industrial management.
• Demonstrated leadership ability; supervision in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong problem solving, communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work various schedules including weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Lead production staff to ensure a steady flow of output and quality.
• Coach and develop employees; conduct performance evaluations.
• Monitor timekeeping systems and payroll processes (ADP).
• Coordinate production plans; ensure safe startup/shutdown and operations.
• Drive lean initiatives to reduce scrap and improve procedures.
• Foster teamwork linking quality workmanship to customer satisfaction.
• Monitor defects and ensure adherence to standard work and instructions.
• Provide schedule coverage across shifts and weekends as needed.
