Job summary

Vertiv is hiring a night shift Production Supervisor in Franklin Furnace, Ohio to supervise and coach associates toward KPI targets in safety, quality, and production. The role leads a production line, drives improvements, and reports to the operations manager.

You will guide teams, ensure training compliance, and foster an environment of continuous improvement and teamwork to meet business goals. Evening hours may be required.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of leadership experience.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to develop and coach a diverse team.
• Must be self-driven and proactive.
• Strong prioritization skills and multitasking ability.
• Knowledge of ISO and Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coaches individuals and teams to maximize effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of work.
• Monitors performance and implements improvements.
• Provides direction, support, and resources to teams.
• Coaches for improvements and recognizes accomplishments.
• Supervise employees in manufacturing activities, including assigning and reviewing work.
• Delegate and prioritize workload to meet KPI targets.
• Implement procedures and conduct team meetings.
• Train the team on policies, procedures, and controls.
• Drive process improvements and change initiatives as a business partner.
• Ensure compliance with mandatory corporate training requirements (Ethics, Conflicts, etc.).
• Define and monitor key performance measurements for training effectiveness.
• Communicate all procedures to deliver effective technical training.
• Conduct employee performance reviews and provide regular feedback.
• Promote a productive environment and employee involvement.
