Job summary

Mitsubishi Performance Polymers Division in Greer, SC is seeking a Production Supervisor for the night shift to guide five to six operators. In this hands-on role you’ll coach, monitor safety, quality, and output while ensuring adherence to procedures.

The position offers a permanent night schedule with four consecutive days off, 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., and opportunities to develop staff, improve processes, and meet production goals. Prior plastics experience not required—we teach the processes.

Qualifications

• Approximately five years of leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to coach employees and develop team.
• Strong safety awareness and problem-solving.
• Clear communication and prioritization of work.
• Strong computer skills including Word and Excel.
• Willingness to work night shift and cover vacations.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the production floor, ensure procedures and parameters are followed.
• Champion safety, PPE usage, and a clean work environment.
• Set shift direction, conduct meetings, assign responsibilities.
• Develop the team through coaching and performance reviews.
• Monitor production and quality data, troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain accurate records of timekeeping and training.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues.
