Job summary

Mitsubishi Performance Polymers Division in Greer, SC is seeking a Production Supervisor for the night shift to lead a 5–6 person team. You will coach employees, monitor safety and quality, and ensure production goals are met on a consistent basis.

In this hands-on role, you’ll optimize shift workflows, review production data, drive improvements, and maintain thorough records while partnering with maintenance, quality, and HR to resolve issues and support daily operations.

Qualifications

• Approximately five years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven success setting expectations, holding employees accountable, and supporting their development.
• Strong safety awareness, sound judgment, and practical problem-solving skills.
• Clear communication and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the production floor, ensure procedures are followed and equipment is understood.
• Champion safety, PPE use, and a clean, organized work environment.
• Set shift direction, conduct meetings, priorities, and staffing coordination.
• Develop the team with daily coaching, training, and performance reviews.
• Improve production results by monitoring data, troubleshooting, reducing downtime.
• Maintain accurate records, review timekeeping, and manage training records.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and HR to resolve issues.
