Job summary

ABARTA Coca-Cola Beverages, LLC is seeking a Production Supervisor to train and coach hourly staff, ensuring daily activities drive quality, efficiency, safety, service and cost targets in the plant. You will focus on the current week, applying performance tools and setting weekly objectives.

The role requires supervising day-to-day production operations, coordinating improvements, and guiding staff through weekly and monthly targets.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent required.
• 1 year or less of related experience acceptable with training.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret business materials and regulations.
• Ability to write reports and manuals.
• Ability to present information to groups and respond to questions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production to achieve high productivity while maintaining quality standards.
• Meet line productivity objectives with minimal errors.
• Monitor machine speeds and ensure procedures are followed.
• Understand manufacturing processes and maximize productivity and quality.
• Minimize downtime through monitoring line performance and procedures.
• Communicate maintenance issues clearly, verbally and in writing.
• Monitor yields and take corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure housekeeping and nightly cleanup are completed.

Education

Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent

Six months to one year's related experience

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
