Job summary

The Hershey Company in Plymouth, IN is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead frontline manufacturing operations and hourly teams, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will coordinate daily production activities, coach staff, drive continuous improvement, and partner with maintenance, quality, and other plant functions to resolve issues and improve output.

Bachelor's degree preferred; 3+ years leadership; night shift.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing, operations, or production leadership experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Experience driving safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives preferred.
• Supervisory and food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach hourly production employees to achieve daily safety, quality, service, and cost objectives.
• Coordinate daily production activities, staffing, priorities, and cross-functional support to ensure smooth operations across shifts.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, environmental, and employee safety standards.
• Analyze operational performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement solutions that enhance productivity and reliability.
• Partner with maintenance, quality, and other plant functions to resolve operational issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage administrative activities including production reporting, labor planning, documentation, and SAP-related processes.
• Foster employee engagement and development through effective communication, coaching, and performance management.
