Job summary

The Hershey Company is hiring for a Sanitation position in Plymouth, IN. This role focuses on cleaning and sanitizing plant areas, operating cleaning equipment, and supporting routine maintenance to ensure a safe, clean production environment.

Shifts are 12 hours (6pm-6am) with a 2-2-3 schedule and biweekly pay. Starting wage is $21.16 per hour, with benefits including 401(k) with company match and Paid Time Off. Background check and drug screen are required after offer.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age at time of hire.
• High School diploma or GED.
• One-month related experience or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and decimals.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing plant common areas or processing rooms.
• Inventory and stocking of supply rooms as needed.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and other machines as required.
• Perform periodic deep cleaning per 3rd party audit requirements and supervisor instructions.
• Document all cleaning activities and maintain cleanliness of work areas.
