Job summary

You will coach employees, coordinate daily activities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining Hershey’s standards. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, with SAP and MS Office experience valued.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing or production leadership in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Experience driving safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Supervisory and food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach hourly production employees to achieve daily safety, quality, service, and cost objectives.
• Coordinate daily production activities, staffing, priorities, and cross-functional support to ensure smooth operations across shifts.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, environmental, and employee safety standards.
• Analyze operational performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement solutions that enhance productivity and reliability.
• Partner with maintenance, quality, and other plant functions to resolve operational issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage administrative activities including production reporting, labor planning, documentation, and SAP-related processes.
• Foster employee engagement and development through effective communication, coaching, and performance management.
