Curia in Rensselaer, NY is seeking a Production Shift Supervisor for 12-hour night shifts to lead Chemist Operators and ensure cGMP manufacturing per batch records. You will direct daily production activities, uphold housekeeping, safety, and SOP adherence, and maintain clear communication with the Production Manager.

You will also oversee QA-related auditing, prepare shift change pass-off sheets, coach staff, and drive corrective actions to maintain high standards across the facility.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of SOPs.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all activities of Chemist Operators on their shift to manufacture API's according to batch records and perform daily housekeeping.
• Keep Production staff and managers informed of progress and activities.
• Prepare pass-off sheets for shift change and communicate procedure changes to next shift.
• Provide daily activity summaries to the Production Manager.
• Oversee cleaning of production equipment and facility per SOPs and cGMP.
• Enforce all safety procedures in line with SOPs and OSHA standards.
• Train and coach Chemist Operators on new procedures and policies.
• Act as QA extension for auditing functions and daily batch record reviews.
• Conduct daily facility audits to identify and correct issues and escalate as needed.
• Ensure timely corrective actions from QA Internal Audits and assign actions.
