Job summary

The Gellert Global Group is seeking a Shift Supervisor to support the Production Manager across multiple lines in a 3rd shift setting (11pm-7am). You will enter production data, maintain QA documentation, and ensure operational accuracy.

Responsibilities include leading the production team, coordinating equipment setup, enforcing GMPs/SOPs/OSHA safety, and partnering with QA to sustain quality and compliance. Evening/night shift coverage required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional education preferred.
• 7+ years of manufacturing or food production experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with sustained focus, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and lead by example.
• Strong verbal communication skills and proficiency with computer applications and ERP systems.
• Forklift and/or walk-behind motorized lift, with OSHA-compliant training.

Responsibilities

• Manage production team and daily production operations to meet throughput and schedules in compliance with policies.
• Direct production operations, including equipment setup and readiness prior to start-up.
• Conduct pre-shift and post-shift meetings to communicate safety expectations, production goals, and performance feedback.
• Enter production data into the company’s software system and ensure accuracy of records for reporting and payroll.
• Coordinate staffing levels and personnel assignments to maintain coverage and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to maintain GMPs, SOPs, and sanitation standards.
• Enforce OSHA safety requirements and maintain a safe work environment.
• Identify safety hazards and report incidents to management.
