Job summary

The Gellert Global Group is seeking a Shift Supervisor for the 3rd shift (11pm-7am, Sun-Thu/ Fri morn). You will support the Production Manager, oversee multiple lines, and ensure accurate data entry, QA documentation, and compliance with GMP, SOPs, and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities include coordinating setup, leading daily meetings, monitoring safety, and guaranteeing throughput goals. Prior experience in manufacturing and strong leadership are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 7+ years manufacturing or food production experience preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with sustained focus, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate.

Responsibilities

• Manage production team and daily operations to meet throughput and schedules.
• Direct production operations and coordinate equipment setup.
• Conduct pre/post-shift meetings to communicate safety and goals.
• Communicate daily production objectives and staffing plans to teams and management.
• Post and closeout daily production records for reporting and payroll.
• Enter production data accurately to support reporting and payroll.
• Supervise staff, manage attendance, and allocate staffing to maintain coverage.
• Collaborate with QA to maintain GMP/SOP compliance and sanitation standards.
• Enforce OSHA safety requirements and maintain a safe work environment.
• Identify hazards and report safety concerns per OSHA guidelines.
• Coordinate with Maintenance and track work orders for repairs.
• Coordinate with Shipping/Receiving for material availability.
• Review timecards for payroll accuracy.
• Escalate issues to Production Manager as needed.
• Operate forklifts/walk-behind equipment per training and OSHA rules.
