Job summary

Actus Nutrition is hiring a Production Supervisor to direct shift personnel in a food production facility, ensuring finished products meet quality and customer requirements. The role involves coordinating materials, monitoring hourly specs, and leading safety and KPI-driven improvements.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of strong mechanical/operations leadership, a bachelor’s degree (preferred), and excellent communication skills to motivate teams on a night shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership and ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal direction.
• Strong problem solving and organizational abilities with good interpersonal skills.
• Experience leading mechanical/operational teams in a production setting.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred, food-grade facility experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct shift personnel to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Coordinate materials flow, waste reduction, and rework utilization in production.
• Monitor product characteristics hourly and ensure compliance with specs.
• Enforce safety and regulatory programs for long-term safe operation.
• Lead production staff and develop education and SOP adherence.
• Communicate performance metrics daily to the team and management.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and complete shift reporting and KPI tracking.
• Collaborate with Process/Production Managers to improve efficiency.
