Job summary

Bob Evans Farms, Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee production and shipping areas, ensuring efficiency, quality and safety. You will develop schedules to meet goals and collaborate with management to maintain GMP compliance.

You will lead staff training, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and manage production planning to meet customer needs while controlling costs. This role is on-site at our Idaho plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or combination of education and experience.
• Prior experience in food manufacturing and plant supervision is preferred.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of safety regulations and related safety precautions.
• Food safety guidelines including GMP and HACCP awareness.
• Ability to identify issues, multi-task, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the production and shipping areas, monitoring efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Develop production schedules to meet internal goals and customer expectations.
• Ensure compliance with GMP and safety policies and procedures.
• Communicate with Plant Manager, Supervisors, Safety and Quality teams to achieve goals.
• Help implement continuous improvement projects and cost-efficient production.
• All other duties as assigned.
