Job summary

Bob Evans Farms is seeking a Production Supervisor for the night shift (2/2/3) in Rigby, Idaho. The role oversees production and shipping areas, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency while coordinating schedules and resources to meet customer expectations.

The position requires a related degree and food manufacturing experience, with strong focus on GMPs, safety, and lean practices. Regular full-time, on-site role with opportunities to lead and train staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior food manufacturing and plant supervision experience preferred.
• Lean Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and HACCP guidelines.
• Ability to identify and resolve issues; multitask and meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills; excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement safety policies for production and shipping areas.
• Prioritize food quality and ensure GMP compliance.
• Communicate with Plant Manager and supervisors to meet goals.
• Manage production planning, staffing, and day-to-day operations.
• Develop and train group leaders and direct reports.
• Prepare production schedules and coordinate activities for efficient, quality products.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement projects.
• All other duties as assigned.
