Job summary

Actus Nutrition is seeking a Production Supervisor - Night Shift to lead the plant’s production team in Norfolk, NE. The role focuses on directing shift personnel to ensure consistent manufacture of finished products that meet customer volume and quality requirements.

Responsibilities include training, scheduling, KPI reporting, inventory control, sanitation, and coordinating maintenance. Strong communication and bilingual Spanish/English abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years supervisory experience in a dairy processing plant.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Proficient with common computer software applications.
• Bilingual Spanish and English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train and develop employees to maximize strengths and meet daily workload.
• Build a culture of positivity and recognition within the team.
• Coordinate activities across process areas to meet scheduling and quality requirements.
• Organize materials, including raw materials and rework, for production.
• Monitor physical characteristics hourly and ensure specs are met.
• Enforce safety and regulatory programs for long-term safe operation.
• Lead production personnel and develop education and SOPs, quality specs, safety expectations.
• Communicate performance/KPIs to the team daily.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and complete shift reports; coordinate records.
• Prepare production reports and evaluate efficiency to improve outputs.
• Assist in weekly/monthly production scheduling and staffing.
• Maintain sanitation and keep the plant clean and orderly.
• Coordinate equipment repairs with Maintenance and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with company, state, and federal safety policies.
