Job summary

Magna Exteriors in Warren, MI seeks a manufacturing supervisor to lead Just-In-Time assembly and direct labor while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity. You will coach teams, coordinate with management, and drive continuous improvement across shifts.

The role requires 3–5 years in production/supervision, a high school diploma or GED (associate or bachelor’s a plus), and knowledge of lean methods and OSHA safety standards. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field is a plus.
• 3–5 years of experience in a production, manufacturing, or supervisory role.
• Experience in automotive, plastics, or high-volume production industries is preferred.
• Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement (5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma).
• Strong understanding of OSHA and workplace safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct Just-In-Time assembly and other operations to meet safety, quality, cost, productivity, and environmental goals.
• Maintain communication with assembly operators regarding policies, procedures, work instructions, and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate objectives with other management to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
• Supervise direct labor, provide coaching, and document performance issues.
• Schedule and assign tasks to achieve daily production, quality, and housekeeping goals.
• Promote 5S and TPM practices to maintain a safe and efficient production environment.
