Job summary

Graham Packaging is seeking a Production Supervisor for the night shift in Lee's Summit, MO. You will oversee hourly staff, enforce safety and quality standards, and drive plant productivity on a 2-2-3 schedule with hours 6:45pm to 7:00am.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree or related operations experience and at least 2 years in a manufacturing supervisory role. Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or related operations experience required; an equivalent combination is acceptable.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an operations supervisory/management role in manufacturing with demonstrated leadership.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to interact with managers, vendors, and customers.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Supervise hourly employees across all phases of blow molded container manufacturing.
• Enforce safety, quality, GMP, and company policies on shift.
• Manage shift functions including training, safety, inventory, and general management.
• Review time records and manage temporary staffing to meet production objectives.
• Ensure machine utilization meets efficiency goals and drive CQI improvements.
• Attend and conduct production and safety meetings; document shift decisions.
