Job summary

Mattr is seeking a Production Supervisor in Fairfield, OH. You will lead the production team on the C-Shift, driving safety, quality, and on-time performance while partnering with Planning, Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality. The role combines hands-on supervision on the plant floor with office coordination.

Ideal candidates bring supervisory experience, knowledge of 5S, and CI methods, and can coach staff through continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required; further education preferred.
• Six Sigma White/Green Belt preferred.
• 1–2 years of supervisory experience.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong knowledge of safety, 5S, and CI methods (8D, 5 Why).

Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership for the production team to meet goals.
• Influence safety, quality, schedule adherence and employee development.
• Collaborate with Planning, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, Safety and HR.
• Drive continuous improvement and maintain 5S standards.
• Lead or participate in root-cause analyses and corrective actions.
• Communicate effectively through daily shift meetings and updates.
