Job summary

Abbott in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a Production Specialist Operator to run 12-hour night shifts in the Columbus Plant. You will operate filling, processing and sterilizing equipment, monitor charts, and ensure accurate documentation while maintaining a safe, clean work environment.

Requires a high school diploma or GED and 1+ year in production/manufacturing, with strong teamwork, attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of production or manufacturing experience.
• Must work well in a team and have attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Safety operation of production equipment related to filling, processing and sterilizing equipment and sampling responsibilities.
• Monitors charts and performs tests to assure sterility.
• Complete work orders and documentation accurately.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Communicate effectively within the department and plant.
• Maintain and replenish production materials.
• Complete general housekeeping and sanitation tasks.
• Meet compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies.
