Job summary

Abbott Columbus Plant is seeking a Production Operator for weekend night shifts to help manufacture liquid nutrition products, monitor equipment and ensure quality and safety documentation is maintained. You will handle raw ingredients, operate scales, pumps, and CIP systems, and document manufacturing steps in work orders.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, reading and following procedures, troubleshooting equipment, and maintaining a clean, compliant work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
• Experience in a plant production environment (food, beverage, or drug)

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the quality and safety systems in manufacturing.
• Manufacture liquids for nutrition products (adult, pediatric).
• Handle raw ingredients and operate verification/documentation processes.
• Operate CIP/COP systems and related equipment; ensure proper cleaning and sanitation.
