Job summary

Abbott Columbus Plant is seeking a Production Specialist Operator for a 12-hour day shift (6:00am–6:30pm) with rotating onsite days. You will operate filling, processing and sterilizing equipment, monitor sterility charts, and complete work orders and documentation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of food or beverage production/manufacturing experience.
• Able to work effectively within a team and show attention to detail.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment for filling, processing and sterilizing.
• Monitors charts and performs tests to assure sterility.
• Complete work orders and documentation accurately.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Communicate effectively within the department and plant.
• Maintain and replenish production materials.
• Perform general housekeeping and sanitation tasks.
• Meet compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies.
