Schwan's Company is hiring for a full-time Production 80% Sanitation 20% role at our New York facility. Starting pay is $18.75 per hour with an additional $1.50 shift differential for third shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 0–1 years experience typical.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand on concrete floors for extended periods.
• Be adaptable to rotating schedules, including weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble product, and package finished goods.
• Ensure products meet company and government quality standards.
• Inspect products and document waste as directed.
• Notify supervisor of quality issues or equipment problems.
• Clean floors, fixtures, and walls using standard cleaning supplies.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment as directed.
• Follow sanitation schedules and document cleaning of facility and production line.
• Document chemical use to stated concentrations for appropriate applications.
• Verify proper chemicals and concentrations are used and cleaning is complete.
