Job summary

Sun Chemical Corporation is seeking a Production Operator for the Amelia, OH plant to support 4/4 night shifts. The role involves operating equipment, handling materials, labeling products, and ensuring quality while following SOPs.

Must meet safety standards, participate in cyber security and other required trainings, and lift up to 55 lbs as needed. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED; an associates degree is a plus, and certification for plant trucks/elevated platforms is

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Associates degree preferred.
• Certification on industrial trucks and elevated platforms desired.
• Good verbal and written communication skills and basic math ability.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment to produce pigment dispersions per SOPs.
• Move materials and assist in packaging and labeling processes.
• Clean floors, tanks and equipment regularly to maintain cleanliness.
• Maintain safe work practices and participate in safety training.
• Communicate with shipping, quality control and maintenance as needed.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment; lift up to 55 lbs.
• Complete required training modules and follow all company procedures.
