Responsibilities include coordinating with maintenance, preparing reports, and using Six Sigma and Lean tools to implement improvements. Requires 3+ years supervising, HS diploma, and SAP/MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; chemistry/chemical engineering background preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience as a production supervisor or process technician.
• Proficient in MS Office and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Promote and ensure a safe working environment and enforce safety rules.
• Troubleshoot processes to maximize quality and yield.
• Plan, organize, and direct work of production operators for efficiency.
• Maintain department financial performance and records.
• Coordinate with maintenance to ensure equipment upkeep.
• Front line responsibility for labor relations and disciplinary actions.
• Execute the production schedule as set by site management.
• Utilize Six Sigma and Lean tools to implement improvements.
• Develop people through coaching and consistent discipline.
• Participate in cross-functional teams including Six Sigma and Safety.
