Job summary

Dawn Foods is seeking a Machine Operator I in Louisville to work with raw materials, mix formulas, and package products for shipping. You will follow GMPs and HACCP standards to ensure quality and food safety while maintaining a clean, organized workstation.

The role requires basic reading/writing, teamwork, and the ability to operate production equipment. Weekend shifts and overtime are possible based on needs.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Writes routine reports as part of daily tasks.
• Communicates effectively with team members to coordinate production.
• Demonstrates problem-solving skills in variable production scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Ensure products meet specs, food safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain housekeeping and GMP/HAACP standards.
• Operate computer systems relevant to production processes.
• Run auxiliary equipment as needed for each function.
• Follow safety guidelines and SOPs to produce high-quality products.
• Assist in training new team members.
