Dawn Foods is seeking a Production Machine Operator I for the Night Shift in Louisville, Kentucky. You will work onsite with raw materials to mix formulas, batch ingredients, and prepare products for shipping according to safety and quality standards.

This role offers competitive pay at $21/hour with a $0.50/hour shift differential and a $1.50/hour raise every six months until the max rate of $29.87. Overtime is per UFCW contract; climate-controlled facilities; and opportunities for training and

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Ability to write routine reports.
• Effective communication with team members.
• Basic math: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units.

Responsibilities

• Ensure products meet specifications, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards per GMP, HACCP, and related guidelines.
• Operate computer systems and auxiliary equipment in production processes.
• Perform tasks safely following SOPs and batch cards.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Communicate quality, safety, scheduling or food safety issues to lead or supervisor.
• Keep workstation clean and organized.
• Support Dawn Values and teamwork.
