Job summary

Saint-Gobain, via its CertainTeed subsidiary, is hiring for a production operator in Ennis, Texas. The role requires adherence to safety policies, 5S practices, and the ability to learn and operate a single workstation autonomously or within a team.

The position is on nights (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) on a 2-2-3 schedule, with hourly compensation of $28.31. Candidates must be prepared for physically demanding duties and maintain quality and equipment standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and do basic mathematical skills.
• Good oral communication skills and attendance.
• Willingness to learn from trainers, leads and supervisors.
• Maintain 5S of work area and equipment.
• Ability to work 8–12 hour shifts on feet and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and support production line independently or in a team.
• Follow safety policies and quality standards.
• Perform visual inspections and ensure procedures are followed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area.
• Assist with administrative duties when needed.
