Job summary

Image Associates Inc. in Knoxville, TN seeks a Production Manager for the night shift (10:30 pm–7:00 am) to drive safety, delivery, cost and quality. The role requires a strong background in machining and assembly for automotive parts and will oversee three supervisors and ~75 operators.

Responsibilities include leading continuous improvement under Toyota Production System principles, collaborating with maintenance and quality teams, and using metrics to guide production decisions.

Qualifications

• Must have at least three years of supervisory experience.
• Strong background in machining and assembly for automotive parts.
• Must understand automotive quality requirements for machined and finished parts.
• Degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement and safety initiatives.
• Oversee three supervisors and about 75 machine operators, assemblers, and machinists.
• Work with Quality to set goals including scrap reduction and reduction of customer complaints.
• Evaluate and improve manpower layout, 5-S standardization, and organization layout.
• Collaborate with maintenance to improve machine uptime.
• Provide data-driven analyses of manufacturing problems.
