Job summary

CANPACK Group is seeking a Production Operator for the 7pm-7am shift to manage machine production and ensure quality according to specifications. You will also perform basic repairs, interpret PO sheets, and support maintenance during line changeovers while maintaining safety and housekeeping standards.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, familiarity with manufacturing environments, and basic measurement tools.

Qualifications

Experience in a Manufacturing facility is a plus.
Basic knowledge of US measurement.
Ability to use calipers and micrometers.
Problem solving skills.
Ability to organize own work.
Basic knowledge of computers.
Experience in mechanical maintenance and repair is a plus.
Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Ensure overall Production of machines and quality according to specification sheets.
Basic repairs on the equipment.
Read and understand PO sheets.
Check accuracy and quality of finished ends.
Locate and clear basic production jams.
Read control panel messages/statuses.
Assist with regular servicing and solving machinery problems.
Support maintenance during line changeovers.
Train or assist others on Production duties.
Understand shell press and conversion press basics.
Comply with health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
Perform duties as assigned by management.
