Job summary

Unilever in Independence, MO seeks a Night Shift Production Supervisor to lead safety, productivity and quality on the night crew, applying TPM principles and coordinating with maintenance, QA, and planning.

You will manage shift staffing, track hours with Kronos, help develop the site budget, uphold GMP standards, and foster a safety-first culture while driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 3+ years of experience leading a team in a food/CPG/FMCG, pharmaceutical or automotive manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating across multiple shifts (nights, weekends, etc.).
• Hands-on leadership in a high-volume, fast-paced production environment.
• Working knowledge of GMP, food safety, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate shift employees in safety, efficiency, quality and TPM.
• Ensure safety procedures and SHEQ initiatives are followed.
• Maintain productivity and manage off-shift coverage and overtime.
• Coordinate with Facilities, Materials, QA, and Planning to meet plant goals.
• Record hours using Kronos; support budgeting and cost control.
• Promote a safety-oriented culture and drive continuous improvement.
