Job summary

Mondi Group in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Night Shift Production Supervisor to lead and motivate the production team in the assigned area. You will monitor daily production activities to meet efficiency goals, enforce safety protocols, and ensure quality output while supervising 20–30 hourly staff.

You will plan and control performance against targets, maintain logs, participate in safety and housekeeping, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3 years supervisory or leadership experience preferred
• 2+ years experience in manufacturing environment
• Lean, Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methods preferred
• Technical Training preferred
• Industrial Safety Training preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees in day-to-day operations to ensure safety, quality, and productivity
• Maintain and improve production throughput and control direct labor costs with the Manager
• Ensure compliance with run speeds and set up times
• Address downtime issues and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Train, motivate, and mentor employees; conduct performance evaluations
