Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee a 12-hour night shift, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time production. You will guide hourly teams, manage schedules, and drive continuous improvement while controlling costs and maintaining compliance with company policies.

You will lead cross-functional collaboration with maintenance, quality, and materials groups, coaching staff and building a culture of accountability and operational excellence across the plant.

Qualifications

• Requires a college degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of three years in a supervisory role in manufacturing.
• Experience supervising more than ten employees.
• Experience with shop floor reporting systems.
• Proficient with MS Office; SAP/JDE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety rules and promote an injury-free culture.
• Direct and supervise hourly employees; assign work and monitor performance.
• Maintain production schedules and optimize manpower, machinery, and materials.
• Ensure products meet specifications; implement corrective actions.
• Provide on-the-job training and coach staff on equipment operation.
• Schedule and control overtime; minimize idle time and variances.
• Identify issues, conduct investigations, and implement improvements.
• Apply plant policies consistently and document disciplinary actions.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and materials teams to resolve issues.
