Job summary

Fehrer Automotive North America in Duncan, SC seeks a Production Supervisor for the night shift to lead 30–50 employees on the production floor, ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery, and mentor staff for continuous improvement. The role requires strong leadership, SAP familiarity, and adherence to IATF 16949, ISO, and TISAX standards.

Qualifications

• High School Education and 1–5 years of progressive manufacturing experience and proven supervision success.
• Bachelor’s Degree (BS) or 5–10 years of progressive manufacturing supervision experience.
• Self-motivated with well-developed leadership skills.
• Knowledge in SAP and understanding of audits in IATF 16949, ISO, and TISAX.

Responsibilities

• Maintain consistent shift-to-shift communication.
• Ensure production line startup/shutdown is completed.
• Ensure employees follow standard operating procedures.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment with safety compliance.
• Continuously monitor product quality and inspect parts for conformance.
• Identify nonconforming material and dispose of it properly.
• Prepare end-of-shift paperwork and review performance with employees.
• Provide training to employees on various tasks and set common goals.
