Job summary

Ultium Cells LLC is seeking a skilled engineer/lead to join the Cells Assembly Department on the night shift, supporting a 12-hour production schedule. You will drive continuous improvement, troubleshoot equipment and processes, read production data, and collaborate with leaders across departments to meet yield and productivity targets.

The role requires 3–5 years in mechanical assembly and manufacturing, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years experience in complex mechanical assembly, tooling, and manufacturing equipment.
• 1-3 Years Industrial or Manufacturing Leadership - Supervision Experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of quality processes and implementation methods.
• Knowledge of electrical concepts and manufacturing lithium-ion battery processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance for plant safety and environmental regulations.
• Support and coordinate activities of employees engaged in production.
• Read and analyze charts, work orders, and production schedules to determine requirements.
• Plan and establish work schedules to meet production goals.
• Train team on equipment operations, safety procedures and quality expectations.
• Monitor equipment performance and production indicators to ensure standards.
