Job summary

Flora Food Group in Hugoton, Kansas, is seeking a Night Shift Production Lead to guide the plant’s overnight operations. You will plan daily allocation of equipment, personnel, and materials to meet production goals while upholding safety, quality, and efficiency standards.

You will develop hourly union employees, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, Warehouse, and Planning teams to resolve issues and achieve plant objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in manufacturing or food production is preferred.
• Ability to manage unionized hourly workers and coordinate across departments.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage daily allocation of equipment, personnel, and materials to meet production goals safely and efficiently.
• Lead and develop hourly union employees through hiring support, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Champion Environmental, Health & Safety and Quality standards, ensuring full compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity, reduce waste, and enhance operational performance.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Warehouse, and Planning teams to resolve issues and achieve plant objectives.
