Sunny Sky Products in Houston, TX, is seeking a 3rd shift Production Supervisor to oversee night operations under the Plant Manager. You will supervise a team and coordinate with Quality, Scheduling and Maintenance to ensure safe, efficient production and premium quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of manufacturing and supervisory experience, strong communication skills, and a hands-on leadership style.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or related work experience.
• 5+ years supervisory experience.
• 5+ years manufacturing experience.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills.
• Strong commitment to food safety.
• Attention to detail and reliable follow-through.
• Hands-on supervisor.
• Experience with MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist the plant manager with reducing manufacturing costs through use of process, equipment and staff improvements.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in the production areas of the plant.
• Coach department staff and assist with their professional development.
• Promote development of production employees throughout the plant.
• Assist with ensuring that all new hires are properly and adequality trained to perform their job responsibilities at the highest level.
• Help to control inventory losses and participate in month end inventory counts.
• Other duties as assigned
