Johns Manville is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the night-shift operations (5pm–5am, 2/2/3 schedule) and drive world-class safety, quality, and production results at the Milan, OH site.

You’ll manage a team of hourly employees, meet daily objectives, and foster an engaged, accountable, and high-performing manufacturing environment. This hands-on leadership role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing processes and production operations.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.
• Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience working with ERP systems, SAP preferred.
• Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsabilités

• Lead a team of hourly production employees and ensure safe, efficient day-to-day operations.
• Meet production objectives while engaging, empowering, and holding employees accountable.
• Develop and coach employees to drive safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.
• Coordinate training and skill development to strengthen workforce capability.
• Prepare and cascade production reports and shift-to-shift communication.
• Address employee performance issues and drive continuous improvement.
