You will lead production staff, onboard and coach employees, ensure safety and quality, and drive continuous improvement while meeting production targets. This role emphasizes strong leadership, communication, and adherence to our standards of procedure.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience as a supervisor in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience in process improvement and safety management is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Accomplishes production objectives by onboarding and orientation, assigning, and coaching employees, communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, appraising contributions and adhering to policies and procedures.
• Meets production standards by implementing production, quality, and customer service standards.
• Meets production financial standards by monitoring costs and implementing corrective actions.
• Completes production requirements by expediting work results, monitoring progress, and problem-solving.
• Improves workflow by eliminating stoppages, analyzing delays, and trying new methods.
• Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing procedures and regulations.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
