Qualifications

• +5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Proven leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Food industry and HACCP experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, computer and written communications skills.
• Be a self-starter who works with a sense of urgency and acts as a good team player working with other disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise hourly production workers and coordinate schedules.
• Operate production equipment and troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure safety, policies and procedures are followed and training records maintained.
• Manage setup and completion of production jobs according to schedule.
• Maintain inventory accuracy of materials and finished goods.
• Suggest process improvements to reduce waste and increase productivity.
• Coordinate and approve hourly PTO and Sick time; manage timecard data for payroll.
