Job summary

LiDestri Foods in Rochester, NY seeks a Production Supervisor for 12-hour night shifts (6:00pm–6:30am) to manage all aspects of manufacturing operations on the assigned shift and lead a team of hourly staff. You will drive safety, quality, line efficiency and cost controls, recruit and coach personnel, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure production work orders are completed accurately.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years supervisory experience in production, a strong leadership

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• Experience leading hourly production staff.
• Experience in cost control and budget management.
• Background in lean manufacturing or Lean Six Sigma.
• Experience in food/beverage manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the manufacturing operation on the assigned night shift.
• Maintain safety, quality, line efficiency, yield, and cost per case targets.
• Supervise 10+ hourly employees, including hiring, training, evaluations, and attendance records.
• Enforce safety and sanitation regulations across the shift.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and optimize production.
• Review material transactions and production work orders for accuracy.
• Coach and develop staff; manage schedules and timecards.
