Job summary

Broadridge in El Dorado Hills, CA seeks a Production Supervisor to ensure SLA compliance and cost-effective client mailings. You will monitor production lines, optimize labor, and coordinate resources across departments to meet contractual and quality standards.

The role requires supervising multiple crews, training operators, managing equipment, and maintaining safe, efficient operations with a focus on throughput and cost control.

Qualifications

• Min 3 years supervisory experience in a production environment.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Machine & plant acquisition experience necessary.

Responsibilities

• Authorize production sign-off on all jobs and verify materials and indicia.
• Ensure operators receive proper technical, quality, and ISO training.
• Oversee mail industry production equipment and optimize workflow.
• Manage labor on the production floor and adjust with temp agencies as needed.
• Delegate work, maximize machine throughput, and maintain safety standards.
• Cross-train staff to reduce labor costs and optimize equipment
• Plan, monitor, and schedule labor to meet volume and cost targets
• Prepare for shift readiness and communicate priorities via emails
• Prioritize must-mail jobs and track hot jobs to meet deadlines
• Coordinate with Print Room, Forms, Inkjet, Scheduling to meet SLA's
• Staff weekends during proxy season and month-end runs
• Ensure material handlers stock and count inventory and audit shipments
• Continuously revise procedures and training schedules
• Monitor WIP and propose process improvements
• Set department and individual goals and communicate through meetings
• Act as Production Manager in the manager's absence
• Coach and develop staff; provide application training
• Perform other duties as needed
