Job summary

Novonesis is seeking a Production Supervisor in West Allis, WI to lead a shift of operators and support staff, driving safety, quality, and production targets in a 7-on/7-off schedule with night hours. You will coordinate with maintenance, quality, and supply chain to ensure efficient plant operations.

The role combines hands-on leadership with tactical execution, focusing on root cause analysis, continuous improvement, and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent frontline leadership experience in manufacturing or food processing.
• Proven supervisory or team leadership experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Experience working in GMP or other regulated environments.
• Exposure to continuous improvement or lean manufacturing practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations and people management, ensuring safety and productivity.
• Deliver production performance by meeting safety, quality, productivity, cost, and people metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement through root cause analysis and corrective actions; support 5S and lean initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, Food Safety, and Food Defense; maintain production records and support audits.
