Job summary

Novonesis is strengthening its Health & Safety function at the West Allis, WI site. The Health & Safety Specialist will implement health and safety programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and work with site leadership to prevent incidents and promote a strong safety culture.

Role focuses on execution, industrial hygiene support, and ongoing training across manufacturing operations, with travel about 10% for site activities and training. Office-based at West Allis, WI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety or a related technical field is required.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in a technical or manufacturing setting.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001 and related regulations.
• Strong time management and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Implement health and safety programs to support a safe manufacturing environment.
• Conduct safety training in line with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies.
• Lead incident investigations and support corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct and maintain job hazard analyses.
• Assist with industrial hygiene surveys and employee programs such as fire prevention, emergency response, evacuation planning, and ergonomics.
