Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH Company, is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a night-shift manufacturing team of ~18 in Colfax, NC. You will drive safety, quality, and efficiency while meeting production goals on a 2-2-3 schedule from 7pm to 8am.

The role emphasizes coaching, performance reviews, and continuous improvement, with collaboration across Quality, Engineering and Maintenance to reduce costs and improve output.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
• Strong leadership in safety and environmental compliance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to coach, develop and lead a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally.
• Results-oriented with ability to meet production goals.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe workplace is maintained and safety mindset is encouraged.
• Follow and enforce company policies, standards, and safety requirements.
• Drive safety excellence through employee involvement and accountability.
• Hire, schedule, and supervise full-time and temporary staff.
• Provide timely coaching and take disciplinary action when needed.
• Conduct quarterly and annual performance reviews for team members.
• Foster development, problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Oversee process documentation and training for consistency and safety.
• Ensure quality processes are followed and product meets standards.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering and Maintenance to improve quality and efficiency.
• Track productivity and operate within budget using lean methods.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and enforce control procedures.
• Assist with troubleshooting production issues.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
