Job summary

LG Energy Solution Arizona, Inc. is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Operator or experienced hourly Team Leader to join our high-performance production team in Queen Creek, AZ.

You will operate and maintain manufacturing equipment, mentor operators, and ensure quality and efficiency across processes. You will collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering and QA to troubleshoot issues and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment, including performing OCAPs and 5S/3R activities as

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in a production role in manufacturing with automated or semi-automated equipment.
• Able to work overnight and 12-hour shifts.
• Willing to work a compressed week schedule including weekends.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S and 6-Sigma.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot equipment/process issues and implement solutions.
• Experience with quality control charts and data interpretation.
• Powder handling, chemical batch processing, mixing, roll-winding and material conveyance is a plus.
• Must be self-driven with minimal supervision.
• Lift 25 lbs, stoop/bend/crawl, and work in tight spaces.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Train and mentor operators on operations in assigned area and shift.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and OCAPs.
• Complete documentation and record-keeping to quality standards on time.
• Manage non-conforming materials following MRB process (identification, containment, disposition).
• Operate multiple tools to support efficient production processes.
• Respond to process or equipment issues, start basic OCAPs for deviations.
• Ensure high product quality through 5S, audits and path checks.
• Contribute to safety, quality, output and tool uptime improvements.
