Job summary

LG Energy Solution Arizona, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Supervisor to oversee daily facility equipment operations for continuous production. You will support technicians, ensure safety, and coordinate with vendors and other departments to maintain inventories and adherence to processes.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on, proactive, and committed to safety, reliability, and operational excellence in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience.
• 15+ years of technical facility maintenance experience with at least 1 year of supervisory experience in critical operations or complex systems (EV, biopharma, power plants, or refineries).
• Must be able to work overnight on 12-hour production shifts and alternate weekend schedule.
• Must be able to obtain OSHA 30 within 3 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a proactive operating team focused on monitoring, technical execution, and customer service.
• Organize, oversee, and manage the Facility Technical Group, ensuring safety protocols and enhancements.
• Guide staff in complex factory operations, electrical, mechanical, chemical, and water systems.
• Implement policies, procedures, and plan resource allocation for scheduled/unplanned activities.
• Provide training, mentorship, and career development, and handle on-shift escalations.
• Act as incident commander during facility equipment or utility disruptions and analyze issues to prevent recurrence.
• Communicate work plans, confirm task completion, and evaluate productivity reports.
• Maintain 5S3R Standards and on-site cleanliness.
• Apply right-location, right-quantity, and right-container principles.
• Perform other duties as assigned
